Dogs that worry sheep, cattle and other animals can be a danger not only to the animals they chase, but also to themselves, as by LAW, farmers are now able to shoot any animal that worries their livestock or can force for the dog to be put down; pet or not! Such aggression can be easy to prevent, by keeping your dog on its leash at all times in such areas, however, many people may live in areas where livestock prevails, and would like any chasing to be modified. This can be done using careful planning and immaculate timing, as well as patience and consistence to divert your dogs prey drive or to desensitise your dog to the presence of other animals.
